Oh, yeah -- sounds broken (that's old).  Current revision is something
like r6784.

If you're going to do much work at all, I'd suggest using the new SVN
tree instead anyway, so you can update more often than once a day, do
updates and merges, etc.

  $ svn co https://svn.apache.org/repos/asf/incubator/spamassassin/trunk

Once you get over the hassle of installing SVN (find binary packages for
your distribution from somewhere, trust me on this one), then SVN is
really really nice for doing development.
