You are absolutely right, the spec indicates that a mbox mail starts with From_.
Investigating a bit further, I've discovered that my mail correctly arrives in
/var/spool/mail/myname with the "From " line. However, when the mail is
transferred to my RMAIL inbox, the "From " becomes "Mail-from: From ". As the
code uses substr($_,0,5), it sees "Mail-f" instead of "From ".
I must have a problem with rmail, procmail, or Spamassassin rewriting my
headers...
I think we can close this bug as having been invalid.
