Hi,

I recently installed spamassassin 2.63 on some Solaris 8 servers here and
started getting the following errors in syslog:

Mar 3 09:10:45 server_name spamd[22134]: connection from localhost [127.0.0.1]
at port 51361
Mar 3 09:10:45 server_name spamd[2641]: Use of uninitialized value in numeric
gt (>) at /usr/local/perl-5.83/lib/5.8.3/sun4-solaris/DB_File.pm line 270.
Mar 3 09:10:45 server_name spamd[2641]: Deep recursion on subroutine
"DB_File::AUTOLOAD" at /usr/local/perl-5.83/lib/5.8.3/sun4-solaris/DB_File.pm
line 234.

I've gone to the lengths of completely recompiling perl, SA and DB_File, but
the errors persist.

DB_File is compiled against the BerkeleyDB 4.2.52 libs

I'm using the following custom rule sets:

99_FVGT_Tripwire.cf
antidrug.cf
backhair.cf
chickenpox.cf
evilnumbers.cf
weeds_2.cf

I was wondering if it could be anything to do with those?

Has anyone seen this error/know what could be causing it?

Thanks,

Owen
