Subject: RE: spamassassin -d is too damn slow
OK. SVN 9307.
# time spamassassin -d --mbox -p /dev/null < spam-1000-msgs.mbox >
spam-1000-clean.mbox
Created user preferences file: /dev/null
6.230u 0.240s 0:06.70 96.5%
A comparable time as before, though a bit faster. Some of this could be due
to file caching of the original spam mailbox.
I compared the cleaned spam mailbox from earlier today with this latest
version:
# diff spam-1000-clean.mbox{.bak,}
84715c84715,84716

(The first Subject line above is likely wrapped by the
mail client, but as you can see from the < and > tags,
the subject line was split and continued on a second
line. Just fyi.)
