I *finally* figured this out.
line 1054 (also line 933) from Bayes.pm:
push (@{$body}, $self->add_uris_for_permsgstatus ($permsgstatus));
Why is an eval test changing @{$body}? This has been breaking tests
when Bayes scanning is turned on. The scary thing is that this has been
in the code since 2003-04-28. We really need some way to detect when
@{$body} is changed if we're going to be passing around array references.
