OK, this seems to be working fine now. I can't reproduce any problems by
- starting spamd in syslogging mode
- shutting down my syslogd
- running spamc
- restarting syslogd
- running spamc
everything works as it should; the first spamc gets the right results, the spamd
keeps running, the second spamc also gets results, and the syslog from the
second spamd is logged as would be expected.
I think this is now a WORKSFORME.
