I'm not sure if it made it into the 3.0.0 queue -- was there a bug
for it?  (it's very hard to keep track of stuff that isn't in bugzilla.)

However, 3.0.0 now outputs a new machine-readable log line, which'll
contain the msgid and Resent-Message-Id.  so it may be superfluous
now...
