Summary: No way to treat all networks as untrusted
Product: Spamassassin
Version: 2.63
Platform: All
OS/Version: Linux
Status: NEW
Severity: major
Priority: P5
Component: spamassassin
AssignedTo: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
ReportedBy: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
Using the trusted_networks configuration option, there does not appear to be
any way to cause spamassassin to treat all networks as untrusted (in order to
examine messages that do not have any of our own mail headers on them). The
following behavior was observed:
1) trusted_networks not set
Expected behavior. Spamassassin "guesses" trusted networks as specified in the
man page.
2) trusted_networks = 127.0.0.1 (or some other value never seen in the mail
headers)
Spamassassin appears to revert to "guessing" (incorrectly) what the trusted
networks should be.
