The mass-check program is hanging randomly when doing a mass-check --net.
- strace -p <pid> reveals the processes are waiting in recvfrom(<fd>,
- <fd> is always a UDP socket
- The hanging seems sporadic at best, although I have yet to get fully through a
mass-check --net. Sometimes it hangs after 1000 emails, sometimes after 7500.
- My corpus size is currently about 4000 ham/4000 spam.
- My primary DNS server is running on the same LAN as the mass-check box.
- Killing a hung mass-check process via (-HUP || -TERM || -KILL) results in a
defunct process. The controlling mass-check script does not spawn a
replacement.
I have yet to make it all the way through my corpus after about 10 tries.
