Interesting... can you post some benchmarks?  The AnyDBM_File
documentation says it's slower and I think that was our experience as
well.

I think we'd like to also know that it produces exactly the same results
for checking/learning/dumping.

It was getting too hard to support N-different local DBM modules so we
went with the one that worked the best overall.
