I'm new to this list, though I've been using spamassassin for some months now with excellent results.
I'm not at all convinced though that multihop blacklists should be enabled in spamassassin by default, since such listings generally just indicate that an ISP has a customer with an open relay. Scoring all messages through such as ISP just because of misconfiguration on behalf of one of their customers is I suspect too agressive for most users; all large ISPs will inevitably have at least one incompetent customer from time to time. As a side note, I have a suspicion that being listed in the multihop DSBL list automatically results in a listing in the DSBL unconfirmed list, too. This means a combined penalty of 1.58 from the DSBL for all messages through an ISP with a rogue customer, regardless of whether or not the ISP takes a responsible attitude to addressing such issues in a timely manner. -roy ------------------------------------------------------- This sf.net email is sponsored by: With Great Power, Comes Great Responsibility Learn to use your power at OSDN's High Performance Computing Channel http://hpc.devchannel.org/ _______________________________________________ Spamassassin-talk mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/spamassassin-talk
