Same here, just because I'm lazy and don't want to change my email address -
used since 94 - not to mention having catch-alls for several domains, other
addresses currently posted as mailtos on the web, in old deja/google archives
etc. None ever submitted to a p0rn site.

I also use domain specific addresses to identify email sellers, yet still I
get between 2-3,000 emails a day. Thank god or allah for .procmail,
spamassassin and pine, without them; email would frankly not be viable as a
communication tool anymore for me (without abandoning email addresses).

That's sad.

On another note, some stats here on one machine (the one I'm on so
skewed) for yesterday:

Unix sendmail, SA 2.55

2200 users
~11% have SA turned on (not systemwide - yet) via procmail

34,170 connections were blocked via accesstable and RBLs
37,038 emails passed the "physical" blocks

of that 37,038 19,304 (52%) were run through SA.

SA tagged 12,146 of those (62%).

So 19% of the "checked" emails were "good".

Side note 11% of our users get 52% of the emails.

If I take that same "good" percentage and apply it to the unchecked emails I
would get a bit over 11,000 "good" emails, out of a potential greatly in
excess of 71,000. I say greatly since the attempts against the physical blocks
are rarely repeated (I've often contemplated opening up the floodgates for a
day to see what a hit that would be).

Nah, spam is not a problem.

A health ATTABOY to the developers and all contributors to the development of
SA!
