Yes, but for the opposite reason of what you might think.. the whitelisting doesn't affect the decesion for bayes to learn or not.
However, there might be some problems with false-learning of some sa-talk posts as spam when they contain a bunch of nonspam text as well as a spam quote.
That said, many on the list say they don't have problems with it.
