Hi all,

I'm getting this bizarre problem. My email accounts are hosted somewhere
where SpamAssassin is already installed. I enabled it and it works great.
However, they don't provide SpamBox, so I had to use procmail to
automatically move spam to a spam folder. I'm basically piping the mail
through spamc (no options) and then, based on the X-Spam-Status header I
move it to a designated mailbox.

It all works well, but suddenly I started receiving email messages which
were clearly marked as SPAM. i.e. the body of the message had all of SA
text ("this mail is probably spam..." etc) with scores above 5.0. However,
when I looked at the X-Spam-Status header, the score was much lower
(effectively below 5.0)

My initial thought was that I might be filtering mail through SA twice, so
that my hosting provider does the first filtering and then I pipe it again
through spamc, but when I removed the pipe, it appeared like no filtering
was done at all... so I am assuming there is no 'double' spam filtering.

Any suggestions ?
