This sounds like it would be more of a problem for someone running a Big Ol'
Mail Server Domain(tm), which isn't me. I tend to get my mails in ones and
twos, and have never seen more than two messages being processed at once by
SpamAssassin.

If it turns out this does indeed describe my situation, how would I set up
more hardware/time slots?
