You didn't say what version of SA you're using, so I'll assume 2.60.
That should be a reference to the internal variable 'bayes db version'.
To look at the value that is actually stored in your bayes database
do a "sa-learn --dump magic" see if the numbers look reasonable.
My bet is that your Bayes database got trashed.
