*tries not to get on high horse*

I've seen this horse beaten to death on other lists. Any good mail client
these days, supports the concept of 'reply to list', as well as 'reply' and
'reply to all'. Postings to this list have the following headers:

Mailing-List: contact [EMAIL PROTECTED]; run by
ezmlm
list-help: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]>
list-unsubscribe: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]>
list-post: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]>
List-Id: "SpamAssassin Users" <[email protected]>

The list-* fields are defined in an RFC somewhere.. 2369 or 2919 if memory
serves. Said fields are supported by 'good' mail clients, and provide
support for widgets in the interface to do things like unsub etc with a
'click'. Squirellmail even has a plugin for said headers.

Frankly, I -like- being able to reply on or off list as I choose just by
hitting the right type of reply. Forcing replies back to a list - well,
that's a holy war all in itself :>

(A side note on OE - last I checked, MS had dropped support and any upgrade
paths, it's a dead client.)
