Discussing spamassassin with some people over dinner, we wondered whether a good source of hammy data might be messages I create myself and send out. Presumably, I talk about the same subjects and use similar words as the people I email with most frequently, and I'd get the added benefit that any reply with my message (or parts of it) in the body would already have been learned as ham. (and only people i've emailed would have that data, not spammers)

I'd obviously want to not learn as ham any flamewars, or complaints, but what do you all think about --ham for all sent mail? It certainly shouldn't be too hard to stick into my current mail delivery system.

Similarly, something in my delivery system that auto-whitelists anyone i've sent to makes sense, assuming I'd like a reply. Is anyone out there doing this now? By what method?
