Hi, everyone, new to the list and to SpamAssassin.

I’ve got a box running RedHat 9, Exim 4.30, SpamAssassin 2.63 (installed via CPAN.pm), and Clamav 0.67. I follwed TimJ’s instructions of integrating SA and the rest to a T at www.timj.co.uk. Everything appears to be working as it should, except for one thing that’s really puzzling me.

I’ve got rewrite_subject turned on, and it is adding the appropriate header. However, it’s leaving the original subject line in as well:

--- Start Header ---

X-SA-Exim-Mail-From: [EMAIL PROTECTED]

X-SA-Exim-Scanned: No; SAEximRunCond expanded to false

--- End Header ---

Normally, I wouldn’t really care, but email clients are picking up the first, non-marked subject line, of which I’d prefer to change the behaviour. I’ve gone through every scrap of documentation I can find on the net, not to mention the list archives for this list, but all I found was someone asking a similar question with no replies. It was pretty long ago, though, so I’m hoping someone can help me out.

Thanks!
