That's what I meant with it. Fact is, I've tried in the past to make Exchange 
work with SpamAssassin without a Linux/BSD box in between, in the end it was 
do-able, but I crippled the stuff so much, that we disbanded the effort and 
put a box in between.

Nothing that's free and Open Source will connect to Exchange without major 
trouble. Learning Linux just for letting a box scan for spam isn't so much 
work. And it's way cheaper and faster than any other solution I know of.
