I reported this a while back, and it's happening again. Seems to be happening more often, now, too.
I have * SA 2.63 (from CPAN, not RPM) * ClamAV 0.67 & clamav-milter * spamass-milter 0.2.0+cvs * Fedora Core 1 (current patches, stock 2174 kernel); previously reported under 2166, IIRC * Sendmail 8.12.10-1.1.1 (standard Fedora package) In the interest of full disclosure, I have made one (tiny) change to /usr/bin/spamd -- I output the message ID to syslog (diff output follows): 826c826 < logmsg "$msgid $was_it_spam ($msg_score/$msg_threshold) for $current_user:$> in ". --- > logmsg "$was_it_spam ($msg_score/$msg_threshold) for $current_user:$> in ". There is no obvious error on the syslog; and the error does not appear to be with spamass-milter. Once can see that spamd is accepting connections, and the "processing message". The following excerpt from my syslog is contiguous (but for my comments). I've turned up SPAMD's debug level (I did this before for about a week without it failing, so I turned it down again). It's happened 3 times now in the last few days, so I'm hopeful that I'll get some useful information in short order.
