My sysadmin says that there is no way to include my user_prefs file since spamassassing is called by root and in that moment it does not know that the mail belongs to me. Is there any possibility (for me or my sysadmin) to change this in a way that users can add their own settings for their mails?
It depends on how the system is calling SpamAssassin. Seeing as how your sysadmin mentions that the system doesn't know who the mail belongs to yet, I'm wondering if they're running SpamAssassin at SMTP time, where a message can be for multiple recipients. In this case, there is no suitable way for per-user preferences. The only setup I'm aware of that implements this kind of scanning is Exim, with either SA-Exim or Exiscan-ACL, although it's possible other systems do this as well.
If the system is not setup this way, the sysadmin simply needs to use spamc/spamd, and set the -c option for spamd.
