Hi Doug,

I'd try downgrading your DBD-MySQL driver to version 2.1028 and see if that
solves the problem.

I've had identical problems with the project that I work on
(mailwatch.sourceforge.net) which adds MySQL logging and reporting to
MailScanner - the DBD-MySQL >2.9 seems to cause things to go awry and I'm
not good enough at Perl to work out exactly why this is, but 2.1028 fixes
the problem in all cases for me.
