Does anyone have an idea on the estimated completion date for SpamDPP
and SpamCPP. Is it a couple of weeks, months or years?

I'm trying to decide whether it is worth it to make my own watered down
version. I had started it a while ago using Borland's Delphi. I hadn't
gotten to far when I heard of someone already doing it for SA 3.0 (in
apparently C++). So I stopped, but if someone thinks that
SpamDPP/SpamCPP will not be ready for several months, I think I may
start working on it again.

Another thing is that I'd be interested in how they're interfacing with
ActiveState's Perl. I started doing it using PerlEZ.dll, but then
discovered that only one thread can access the Perl interpreter on at a
time (at least according to their documentation). Though having one
Perl interpreter up and running is still better than some of the current
Window's implementations where they run Perl from scratch each and every
time.

PerlEZ.dll seemed a good choice because it's freely available. However,
the Perl Dev Kit allows you to make a COM object which is supposedly
thread safe. However, it's not free. So I wasn't sure which way to go.
I'm wondering what way SpamDPP is using.

Is the current source available? I checked the SA site, but couldn't
find it.

Thanks,
Mark DeMichele
