There is a part that describes exactly how to integrate spamassassin into the messaging server. We did this, it worked, however we experienced high message delay times in spamassassin. We finally opted to place a linux box infront of the messaging server to run MailScanner for spam and virus scanning. We are extremely pleased with this setup.
