I have several canned replies that I send to bad vacation responders and to postmasters with virus filters that autorespond, etc. But I am nice and very polite. The only way to make this a cultural change is to make this a cultural change. Setting up a bad autoresponder needs to become an embarrassment to people that set them up. They do need peer pressure to realize that they are not being neighborly. So yes, I hope many people apply peer pressure to chastise those who set up autoresponders incorrectly. But be very polite and nice and educational. Do not abuse them. That will just alienate them. Educate them. Teach them netiquette. Few people set out to be a dolt. Bob
