There are README and INSTALL files in the archive (which is only about 14K).
Basically, the system is in 3 parts ..
a) A Postfix content_filter that will run each incoming email through
'spamc'
and depending on the result will either:
1) Send it to the recipient if it wasnt flagged as
Spam by SA
or
2) If it was flagged, the mail will be put in
quarantine and information
about sender, recipient and subject it will
be put in MySQL DB.
b) A report generating program that will connect to the MySQL DB and
for each recipient
it will generate a report detailing the Sender and Subject of
each mail that was
quarantined the day before, and offer the user to click on a
"Release" URL to get
that particulat email in his/her inbox.
c) A perl CGI script that will handle HTTP requests to release
individual emails from
the Quarantine.
So the biggest change for users is that instead of receiving Spams in their
inboxes during the
Work day (very annoying and takes time from real work, even though it is
marked as ***5PAM***),
they will have a report in their inboxes waiting for them each morning when
they arrive to work.
This report detils each potential Spam message that was sent to them the day
before, the sender
And Subject, and the user can decide to click on a URL in the report to have
individual mails
Delivered to his inbox.
