Ah! I see, I was under the impression that SA did rbl checks "out of the box".
Well, it does, do RBLs out of the box if you've got all the standard networking perl modules :)
So if I want to use spamhaus and sorble etc, I need to install one of the above packages. IS this correct
If so any consensus of opinion on which is best ?
There's no "best".. only one of the above packages does RBLs.. Net::DNS.
Razor2, DCC and pyzor aren't RBLs, they are message-hash systems. However, they are considered to be a "network test" because they connect to a server. Of the three, I've used DCC and Razor2. Currently DCC works well for me. Razor2 has some issues with the free perl client that Vipul has acknowledged they need to work on (They've been focusing on their commercial windows spamnet client and the unix client has fallen behind as a result).
I'd advise Net::DNS first, then maybe look at adding DCC or Mail::SpamCopURI. I'd advise holding off on razor until they get a new version out.
Net::DNS should also be easy to install, you probably even have a package for it that came with your OS, but you can also CPAN it.
