Right now I am running SA 2.55 on Mandrake 9.2. I would like to take
upgrade to SA 2.63, so that I can use SpamCopURI. From reading through the
archives it seems there could be problems with my Bayes database. Are there
any other significant changes in the configuration or file locations that I
should be aware of?

I just upgraded to 2.63 from 2.55 last saturday.
Initially I had problems importing my old Bayes DB as it only imported the spam in the end but not the hams.
But this time I did it a bit differently than it is mentioned in the doc.
Officially you should issue a sa-learn --import followed by a sa-learn --rebuild
This didn't work for me then (about a month ago). This time I went directly to the sa-learn --rebuild which upgraded the DB automagically and everything was fine... I dunno if it was just a damaged bayes a month ago or if it really makes a difference letting out the --import.... I dont have the old ones anymore so I cant try if it would have worked with import this time.
Besides from this the only things I had to change in the config are the bayes-settings, but SA will complain to you when you do your first --lint about unrecognized config entries.

Good luck

Matt
