One thing I noticed when looking at the headers of a spam message is, the initial From path is "[EMAIL PROTECTED]," which is the name of my server. I'm wondering if this is preventing messages from getting hits in things like Razor and other RBLs.
No.
There are no conditions on the calling of razor or RBLs which would disable them that change from message-to message. And certainly return-path would NEVER be one of them, since it's absurdly easy to forge.
The only conditions are presence of the right code, working network communications, and config-file options (ie: dns_available, skip_rbl_checks, use_razor2).
