RE: blocking unwanted mails

Looks like a cut and paste error the rule is missing the opening "(",
and the ending slash is reversed.
Rule should be: /(?:pef-rx|vigrex-ds|gsc-100|vp-rx|gv-promax|grx2)/i

What you really should look at is Matt Kettler's Antidrug ruleset.
