Thank You, but I call spamd via /etc/sysconfig/spamd with

    SPAMD_ARGS="-x -Q -d -a -u spamd -H /var/lib/spamd"

so, there is no -c and -x stands for 'Disable user config files' ... but I still
get the "failed to create' message from spamd in the logfile ...

Now, when I see this... should I better use -q instead of -Q ... The difference
of both is not so clear to me ...
Any ideas?

P.S. I have SuSE 9.0 and SA 2.63.
