Yes, if you're running a recent version of MailScanner you can put the
following in /etc/MailScanner/MailScanner.conf:

Spam Checks = /etc/MailScanner/rules/spam.scan.rules

and in the file /etc/MailScanner/rules/spam.scan.rules you can put:

From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] and From: 192.168.1.5 no
FromOrTo: default yes

where the address and IP match those of your mass mailing system. If you
also run virus scanning, you can make a similar rule for that. It doesn't make
much sense to virus scan each copy of an outbound mass mailing.

We have a similar situation with a bi-directional gateway, and MailScanner has
made it easy to selectively scan mail.

Subject: Not scanning certain messages

Does anyone know how I tell Mailscanner not to scan certain messages with SA?
For example, company newsletters and other approved mass mailings are crippling
my SA box, sometimes causing it to take hours to catch up. Whitelisting just
doesn't mark it as spam, I want SA to not even scan messages from certain
addresses. Can I do that without procmail?
