Cannot fork: not enough space?

spamd got a new connection, tried to create a new copy of itself to handle it, and failed due to lack of memory.

Fork is a standard system call which allows a program to spawn another copy of itself.. thus it's execution "forks" much like a fork in a road.

The "not enough space" part is just a generic error message when any kind of file/memory/process/network allocation fails due to lack of sufficient storage of some form or another.
