If the sysadmin whitelisted that address, you can use unwhitelist_from.  See http://spamassassin.apache.org/doc/Mail_SpamAssassin_Conf.html

Other guess would be the AWL, try using spamassassin --remove-addr-from-whitelist=addr.

Subject: Whitelist removal problems

I am running SA2.63, not running spamd. I have sender that I have added to my etc/mail/SpamAssassin/whitelist.cf file. It scores them as expected. My problem is removing a sender (yahoo) from that list. I have ( # ) out the sender....no luck, I have deleted the line ...no luck. The yahoo domain is not whitelisted, other yahoo mail is being filtered fine.

Is the whitelist cached somehow? How can permanently remove a sender from the whitelist?

Thanks
Bryan
