Well, OK, I was guilty of being terse... which I maybe should have prefaced with the assertion that I'm almost *never* terse. If you follow the list for a few days, you're likely to see what I mean. > That said... *That* said, question in the original post from Thomas K. was "Can anyone else test [the message] against their installation and see what it scores," so my reference to SURBL was more of an added plug than a usage tutorial. :-) > Like the starter of this thread, a lot of spam has been getting through, > lately. I'm running SA version 2.60. From the www.surbl.org website: First, please upgrade to at least 2.63. 2.60 is quite old already, and will indeed let quite a bit of spam through. I'm also not sure that the required plugin for SURBL will work with that release (though someone else on the list can probably confirm or deny that). > "The SpamAssassin 3.0 plug-in URIDNSBL, [ ... ]" > > But looking on spamassassin.apache.org, it says: > > "Latest (non-ASF) release: 2.63" > > There is a SpamAssassin link at www.apache.org/foundation, but it just > goes back to spamassassin.apache.org. For SA 2.63, you need the SpamCopURI plugin. The main index page of http://www.surbl.org/ ("Quick Start")'s first subheading is entitled "SpamCopURI SpamAssassin 2.63 plugin", and contains instructions to get you going. If you're still having difficulties, please do come back to the list with specific questions, and we'll do our best to help. - Ryan -- Ryan Thompson <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> SaskNow Technologies - http://www.sasknow.com 901-1st Avenue North - Saskatoon, SK - S7K 1Y4 Tel: 306-664-3600 Fax: 306-244-7037 Saskatoon Toll-Free: 877-727-5669 (877-SASKNOW) North America
