I can't seem to find the network traffic details of this documented, nor a configuration option to turn this test off. Can you please post them? (If it assume it can reach any outside hosts directly, even on the DNS port, it will not work[1]. Perhaps this is the reason that spamassassin -t < sample-nonspam.txt now takes around a minute to complete.) [1] All DNS queries must use the server specified on /etc/resolv.conf
