Category: Outlook Group: Next Release (example) Status: Open Priority: 5 Submitted By: David Klein (cadey) Assigned to: Mark Hammond (mhammond) Summary: SpamBayes as mail manager? Initial Comment: Hello, I'm using the Outlook Addin and it's great, saves me a lot of time ! Will it be possible to use SpamBayes as a mail management system? Our helpdesk team is receiving hundreds of mails a day. It could be really usefull to teach a spambayes base to forward each mail to the right person regarding the words they contain? Of course, to do that, the learning database should be shared by all the support team, I don't know if already possible? That's two requests in one ;-) Thanks ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: gmckone (gmckone) Date: 2005-05-03 10:01 Message: Logged In: YES user_id=1119014 Awesome idea. I'd love to see this. For a company that wants to keep client management simple (out of a CRM) such filtering could detect all emails related to a given client and sort them into the appropriate folder (not rules based as addresses and subjects change) Great! (Maybe it could also watch the sent items and sort those as well :-) ) Greg. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: Jamie Richard Wilson (roguenovember) Date: 2004-07-13 13:41 Message: Logged In: YES user_id=870522 There is another SourceForge project dedicated to Bayesian email classification for the kind of use you are requesting: https://sourceforge.net/projects/popfile/ ---------------------------------------------------------------------- You can respond by visiting: https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=498106&aid=844796&group_id=61702 _______________________________________________ Spambayes-bugs mailing list [email protected] http://mail.python.org/mailman/listinfo/spambayes-bugs
