Please note that this message will contain a full copy of the comment thread, including the initial issue submission, for this request, not just the latest update. Category: Outlook Group: 1.0.4 Status: Open Resolution: None Priority: 5 Submitted By: Marc Goossens (mgoossens) Assigned to: Nobody/Anonymous (nobody) Summary: SB doesn't filter in Outlook 2003 Initial Comment: - using SB plug-in in Outlook 2003 11.6359.6360 SP1 - note: Office 2003 SP 1 was installed as attempt to remedy some of observed problems - combination SB + Outlook 2003 (before SP1) worked fine for several weeks - now (without apparent cause): a) Outlook is highly instable and exits with error message regularly b) apparently since the same time, SpamBayes no longer filters (neither automatically, nor when forced with "start filtering) - spam fields of recent messages remain blank - note SB still learns on "delete as spam" (see also attached logs) ---------------------------------------------------------------------- >Comment By: Tony Meyer (anadelonbrin) Date: 2005-07-14 13:14 Message: Logged In: YES user_id=552329 No files attached (did you forget to tick the box?). The things I'd suggest without seeing the logs are (in order): 1. Check to see if SpamBayes is disabled (Help->About Microsoft Outlook->Disabled Items). 2. Run the "Inbox Repair Wizard" (scanpst.exe) over any "Personal Folders" (.pst) files that Outlook has open. 3. Run Outlook's "Detect and Repair" (particularly since Outlook is also unstable). ---------------------------------------------------------------------- You can respond by visiting: https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=498103&aid=1237283&group_id=61702 _______________________________________________ Spambayes-bugs mailing list [email protected] http://mail.python.org/mailman/listinfo/spambayes-bugs
