Category: Outlook Group: 1.0.4 >Status: Closed Resolution: None Priority: 5 Submitted By: Heather (pure-energy) Assigned to: Nobody/Anonymous (nobody) Summary: Recent installs of IM software and Adobe cause crash Initial Comment: Hi, Iâve been a happy user of SpamBayes for a couple of years now, but started to have a major error last night. My current configuration: - XP Pro - Acer TravelMate 8100 (notebook) - Outlook 2003 - SpamBayes 1.0.4 System changes since SpamBayes was last operational: - Installed Adobe Creative Suite Premium (Photoshop; Illustrator; GoLive; Acrobat Pro; ImageReady; InDesign; VersionCue) - Installed MSN Messenger - Installed Google Talk - (all last night) Issue: - Before the installs, I closed Outlook - When I restarted after the last install and tried to opened Outlook, I got an error message that left me with the option of restarting Outlook with or without disabling SpamBayes - The only way I could open Outlook successfully was to disable SpamBayes Solutions Tried: - Rebooting - Uninstalling SpamBayes and reinstalling it (re- enabling it in Outlook) - Installing the newer version of SpamBayes No solutions Iâve tried have worked. I still get the same issue described above. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- >Comment By: SourceForge Robot (sf-robot) Date: 04/16/06 19:20 Message: Logged In: YES user_id=1312539 This Tracker item was closed automatically by the system. Did any of the installs make any changes to Outlook? ---------------------------------------------------------------------- You can respond by visiting: https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=498103&aid=1398944&group_id=61702 _______________________________________________ Spambayes-bugs mailing list [email protected] http://mail.python.org/mailman/listinfo/spambayes-bugs
