I agree that if such an option becomes available, it should require the
user's consent to install.

This is very similar to the process of installing a new mail client. I
recently installed Eudora and Thunderbird and both ask you whether you want
to import data and settings from your existing mail client. Good option.
Saves a hell lot of time.

I admit that I did not go so far into actual installation planning, I just
floated an idea for a time-saver option which might shorten the time from
installing until having an acceptable level of filtering.

It has been said that assumption is the mother of all screwups. Delivering
an
option to install such a DB might be OK, provided that someone were willing
to
program such an option. However installing such a DB without the users'
consent or control is not sane, sensible or safe: neither you nor the
authors
of SB can predict what users will want to filter for, or why they want to do

so.

Your idea sounds well intentioned but results in a reduction of my control
over /my/ systems. Thanks, but no thanks!

Robert.
