The only way I got SB to work “nicely” was to implement Cached Mode on Outlook.
I’m running Spambayes Plug-in V1 and V1.0.1 (on another PC for different email accounts). Outlook 2003, Windows XP/SP2 on both computers with Exchange 2003 at the server.
If not in cache mode: 1) the screen refresh was an issue when a message was ticked “delete as spam”. 2) I could not filter on other exchange accounts. In this issue, it was a problem when the other account was listed in the folder list as “Mailbox - <username>”.
After switching to cached mode, removing the other account from list, then adding it back, the display is now “<username>”. The ‘Mailbox –‘ string is not displayed, just the name on the account. And, SB can now filter on that other account.
So, briefly, the only way I got SB to work was to use cached mode.

I have just discovered a problem running spambayes and outlook 2003. Up to now everything has been working well, until we upgraded our exchange server to exchange 2003. I would like to change the settings on my email account to use cached exchange mode (keeps a copy of all mail on my local pc so if exchange server fails, then I have a local copy of all my email). However, spambayes does not work if cached exchange mode is enabled - is there a workaround for this? Andrew Sharff ------------------------------------------------------------------
