Thanks; and thanks for the feedback - it really does help us ensure that the
final 1.1 is stable.

There is a hierarchy, yes. The rules are:

 * If ham was received and a ham sound is set, the ham sound is played.
 * Else, if unsure was received and an unsure sound is set, the unsure sound
is played.
 * Else, if spam was received and a spam sound is set, the spam sound is
played.

We are very open to suggestions about how this feature can be improved, so
if you've got ideas about how this should be changed, please let us know.

This is the second report of a problem with the unsure notification, but I
just tested it here, and it works for me. If you set the verbosity of your
log to 3 (SpamBayes->SpamBayes Manager->Advanced->Diagnostics), you'll get a
report (amongst a *lot* of other stuff) in the log when any of the
notification sounds are played. Could you try that and next time you get
only unsure mail (or unsure and spam) see if there is a report of the unsure
sound playing? (If there's an error, it would be great to have a copy of
whatever it is).

Unfortunately, yes. When we do figure out a solution (if we can: it might
be that we have to wait for a Microsoft update for the problem to be fixed),
the tracker will be closed. It may be some time before we can look into
this, unfortunately, because Kenny is rather busy at the moment, and only
have access to Outlook 2000 and 2002, neither of which is affected by this
bug.
