Hi there,

I recently downloaded the experimental version of the Outlook addin (SpamBayes-Setup-Experimental-01.exe - did this by mistake - didn't realise at the time I was downloading the experimental version). Once installed, the training worked fine, but since then I have been unable to get Outlook to connect: when connecting to the server, I get the error message: "Unable to connect to the server 'localhost': Unable to connect to the server. Would you like to connect using your modem?"

I uninstalled the plug-in, which although appeared to be done successfully, the SpamBayes toolbar was still visible when I loaded up Outlook, and still I got the same error message when connecting. I installed the stable version (1.1a1.exe), and still have the same problem.

The log file reads as follows:

C:\Program Files\SpamBayes C:\Program Files\SpamBayes\lib\spambayes.modules\spambayes\languages Loaded bayes database from 'C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator\Application Data\SpamBayes\default_bayes_database.db' Loaded message database from 'C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator\Application Data\SpamBayes\default_message_database.db' Bayes database initialized with 69 spam and 6051 good messages SpamBayes Outlook Addin Version 1.1a1 (April 2005) on Windows 5.0.2195 (Service Pack 4) using Python 2.4 (#60, Nov 30 2004, 11:49:19) [MSC v.1310 32 bit (Intel)] Log created Mon Apr 25 13:24:49 2005 *** SpamBayes is NOT enabled, so will not filter incoming mail. *** FAILED to add the toolbar item 'SpamBayesCommand.Manager' - (-2147352567, 'Exception occurred.', (0, None, None, None, 0, -2147467259), None) The above toolbar message is common - recreating the toolbar... Please help!
