Hi Tony: Thanks for pointing me to the FAQs. I performed all the instructions and deleted all SpamBayes files on the C drive but the Junk E-Mail folder still appears on Outlook and the toolbar is still there as well. I hid the SpamBayes toolbar, which suffices. However, I would still like to be able to delete the Junk E-Mail folder.
Can you kindly assist me on this issue? If you want to delete them, then right-click them and select 'Delete "Folder Name"'. That will move the folder into the "Deleted Items" folder, which you can then empty. > In addition, it also leaves the SpamBayes toolbar from MS Outlook. This is a known bug: see FAQ 3.16: <http://spambayes.org/faq.html#how-do-i-uninstall-the-plug-in> The FAQ has instructions for removing the toolbar. > Can you send a detailed instructions on how to manually remove all the > files from C drive and the registry? All the program files and registry values are removed by the uninstaller, which I presume you have run. If you want to delete your data files, then you will need to do that manually. FAQ 3.5 explains where the data files can be found: <http://spambayes.org/faq.html#can-i-back-up-the-outlook-database-should -i-d o-this> =Tony.Meyer -- Please always include the list (spambayes at python.org) in your replies (reply-all), and please don't send me personal mail about SpamBayes. http://www.massey.ac.nz/~tameyer/writing/reply_all.html explains this. _______________________________________________ [email protected] http://mail.python.org/mailman/listinfo/spambayes Check the FAQ before asking: http://spambayes.sf.net/faq.html
