And I can confirm that's certainly the _intent_, but ... there's
really no way for us to know whether Scooby's

    could the culprit be an outlook function used in SpamBayes 

may be on to something.  The Outlook API functions are endlessly
mysterious, and hackers are forever finding ways to trick supposedly
safe APIs into doing things Microsoft didn't intend for them to do
either.

Scooby, if you think you see this happening again (I'm sure I've never
seen it occur), please forward the offending message to one of us.  If
you can't identify a specific message, then no, sorry, there's really
nothing we can check.  The Outlook API functions SB uses "should"
never open an attachment.
