Aparently so but I had to do a google to find out:

I looked in the spambayes folder in Program files and
the proxy folder in the documents & settings tree but
I haven't noticed anything I see as a log.
I enter the info as I mentioned above but see no
reflection a spam has been trained.
Which file would I look for as a log?
I have restarted spambayes anew and deleted the old
files in the proxy folder. I am at this point with 0 new
spam and 4 ham.
I don't in the least mind starting over but it would be
expeditious to use these archived spams as a teaching
tool.
