Alice, are you getting the spamarchive.org spam?  The volume varies a  
lot, but there are usually a few hundred spam each day (you might  
have to vet the automated submissions).

Otherwise, you could setup honeypots, or talk very nicely to the  
Project Honeypot people, and see if they would send some on to you.
