It sounds like you're sorted out, with one possible exception that you've dealt with before.

SpamBayes is a volunteer open source project. If you have thoughtful, specific suggestions, I think you'll find the developers receptive, especially if they're backed up with an implementation patch.

Subject: RE: [Spambayes] Missing "recover" button

Thanks for response (quick). I got it (displayed on tool bar) (back to that issue in a second). There is a FAQ that addresses the problem but that isn’t the link that is displayed at the “faq” troubleshooting section. I think it is only after you submit a “request to submit” that the HTM page is displayed (and that page… wasn’t helpful to me but it was there at least).

So—I think I was hinting at: the trouble section is scarely and not at all easy to find where you want to go and I am pretty good at getting around.

I did configure it (“default setup”, i.e., Junk Suspects was my folder for junk suspects) and am “sure” I did it right. It seemed SB didn’t know where the junk suspect  was at ( until .. it may have found it when I started to right click on the folder to examine properties).

Clicking on the toolbar menu—to get to spambayes (selection) was light grey. Previous (many months ago) I also had problem with many many incidences of SB running (multiple tool bar). Forgot what I did to fix that, looking forward to doing it again.

Thanks

There's a FAQ at http://spambayes.sourceforge.net/faq.html. I don't think it addresses this question, though. You'll only have a "Recover from Spam" or "Not Spam" button when you've selected the "Certain Spam" folder or the "Possible Spam" folder. (The titles for these folders might be different in your version of SpamBayes.) Have you configured SpamBayes to specify these folders? If not, select SpamBayes from the Outlook toolbar, click SpamBayes Manager..., then click Configuration Wizard... to set it up.

A)      The “report problems” section is rather overwhelming and (from what I see)—I have to register to ask about what is probably an easy fix. If this is a FAQ—sorry, perhaps an easy (readable, text) FAQ chapter would be nice.

B)      I lost my hard drive & reinstalled Spambayes (most recent). I have a delete as spam button but the recover from spam button isn’t here and I can’t add it.

C)      I don’t see information about this
