Title: RE: [Spambayes] Unsubscribe please me!

See http://mail.python.org/mailman/listinfo/spambayes to unsubscribe.

You train SpamBayes what you think is spam. It doesn't have any special handling for messages from the SpamBayes list, so if you train it to regard such messages as spam, it will do so. This reflects the strength of its approach to filtering mail.

Note that in a sense, SpamBayes IS a large mailing list. The program is developed and maintained by a core group who subscribe to this list. It's supported by a larger community of people who appreciate the work the core group has done and the support they have received from the list and demonstrate that appreciation by helping others. It's sort of a "you scratch my back, I'll scratch somebody else's" model. Nobody's obligated to participate, of course.

Subject:        [Spambayes] Unsubscribe please me!

I truly apologise for sending this to all the mailing list – but cannot find any other way to get myself unsubscribed

My Spambayes is moving all Spambayes emails into the unsure or junk mail folders – i find this very odd!! That Spambayes thinks its own messages are spam!!

However – in this case it is right as I only wanted to be able to send a message to Spambayes, NOT to be on a large mailing list

Thanks
